Why have I chosen Granada 5 Stud 4×4 front hubs?
I’m not the first to mount a 4×4 front diff into a Haynes Roadster and at the speed I work at it’s not surprised. It’s not just a case of welding on some brackets there was a ton of calculations.
Fitting 4×4 to a Haynes Roadster cannot be easy. The Sierra front differential needs modifying and strengthening to suit it’s new position ahead of the engine.

There are tons of components on this Locost build, some may seem insignificant, but somewhere down the line you will find that they clash with something much more major. E.g. this Sierra 4×4 Front Driveshaft Cover.
Every part of this Haynes Roadster will be drawn up in AutoCad. The next component to be drawn is the Ford Sierra Front Differential.
I’m getting better at the CAD stuff. The latest item to get drawn up is the Sierra Group N front stub axles. When I started learning AutoCad this would have taken me days if not weeks to draw. These took about…
